Common questions

Can I message people first on Instagram?

No. Instagram lets you answer for 24 hours after a person's last message, and it has no message templates. A comment allows one private reply, within 7 days.

Do I need a business account?

You need an Instagram Business or Creator account, with access to messages turned on. A personal account cannot connect.

Could this get my account restricted?

Instagram decides that, and no tool can promise it will not act. Commstate uses the official API, keeps to limits below Instagram's own and stops every send when Instagram rate-limits or blocks the account.
